Hey, I'm posting this for a friend of mine. He just bought a good amount of used marines and considering what he has available, we figured that a shooty army was the best option for him. Here's the list we put together.

What does he plan to do against horde armies? That army would quickly get swamped by a large-numbered ork or tyranid army.

That flaw aside, this army would be extremely boring and not even that competitive. Perhaps you could push him in the direction of a more balanced and fun army to play? This is so attack of the clones.

I guess he was planning on using frag missiles against hordes. Dunno if 5 is enough to cover that, though.

He likes winning. The list being uncompetitive is probably much worse than the list being boring or unbalanced. What could he change to make the list more competitive? Also, what would you change to make the list more zazzy? I hope you don't mean vehicles for the sake of vehicles and that sort of thing.

i don't get it. the army has termies, but they can win melee's alone. and those missiles are better being lascannons with marines. he could even take the chapter trait allowing him to have tank hunters on everything. he definitely needs more CC troops, and better gun groups
