Something that came up in my re-readings:

On page 23 of the BRB is the ‘Enemy in the way’ rule, where a unit an charge a new target which is in the way if the orginal target runs away or is charged through.

It also says that this new unit may react as normal to this charge.

My question is: if the new target choses to stand and shoot, at what range is this resolved?

When the first unit gets out of your way, draw two lines straight forward from the outer edges of your charging unit. If those contact another enemy unit, you get to declare the new charge. Stand & Shoot is resolved just like normal. The defenders fire before the chargers move, or as soon as the chargers come into range of all the defenders if they started outside.

The books (to me) seemed to imply that a charge was declared once the charging unit reached the target.
