Hello all,
I've got a 2k Skaven force that I recently magentized for ease of play. Now I would like to get the whole thing painted. Every model is primed and then painted a dark brown, but that is mostly it. And I have about 200 models in my army! My paint scheme is dark angel's green armor, scorched brown fur, tin bitz on the metal parts, and then a lighter brown on the nose and tail. Any tips?

Dip them!
Paint some greens and reds and start dipping. Guranteed to work wonders with skaven.

I may get skewered for saying this, but drybrush, drybrush, drybrush! Similar to dipping, thanks to all that fur and mouldering cloth, drybrushing works great for Skaven.

Man, I wish there was a real Black Library where I could get a Black Library Card and take out Black Library Books without having to buy them. Of course, late fees would be your soul. But it would be worth it. - InquisitorMack |

Drybrushing looks dusty when done on hordes, unless it's married with some solid detail painting and use of inks/washes. Dipping will still be the best bang for your buck timewise, IMO.
