Hello guys,
I just recently got into At-43 a little while ago and have since fallen in love with the Red Blok faction. So basically I was wondering if you guys cul;d do a once over on a list I had planned before I went out and ordered everything.

Platoon 1
- 12 Krasnye Soldaty (Lieutenant, 3 Grenade Launcher, medic, mechanic)
- 12 RPG Soldaty (Sergeant, 3 Rocket Launcher, medic, combat engineer)
- 3 RPG Kolossus (Sergeant)
- Hetman (Sergeant)
- Hetman (Sergeant)

Its about the cheapest list moneywise that I could come up, my question to you guys is will it be somewhat successfull on the field or should I make some drastic changes even if it means chipping in some extra cash up front. The two things that I think might casue me trouble are the lack of Striders and disruption. Will the two Hetman be enough firepower for me or should I just trade one in for 2 Nakovalny or Sierp striders to bolster my numbers?

the extra hetman is a bit overkill.

With one hetman along with the RPG kollossus and RPG soldaty, you have quite a bit of AT (Anti-tank) in the list.

I would HIGHLY recommend 2 sierps in place of the second hetman.

Those two sierps will give you a good amount of anti infantry ability, and will provide two points of disruption.

Opponents hate sierps, and for good reason.

If you dont want to exchange the second hetman, then definitely change the RPG kollossus into Strielitz kollossus. You just have to trade in one of your AT units for some anti infantry, because right now it is leaning far too heavily towards AT.

Other than that, its a great 2K point frontline list.

Thank you for the advice Hellfury. So with a bit of rework I was able to come up with the following

Platoon 1
- 12 Krasnye Soldaty (Captain, 3 Grenade Launcher, medic, mechanic)
- 12 RPG Soldaty (+ Sergeant A. Tymofiyeva, 3 Rocket Launcher, medic, combat engineer)
- 3 RPG Kolossus (Sergeant)
- Hetman (Sergeant)
- 2 Sierp (Sergeant)

With the points saved with trading in the Hetman I was able to upgrade my Officer and purchase Tymofiyeva for just a bit more disruption.

I guess I just got carried away with including 2 big walkers in the list...

I still love my all disruption and interference list.

2 9-man Dragonv squads, one with a colonel. All have 3 snipers and 2 electronic specialists

2 squads of 3 sierps.

1 minimum Krasnaye Soldaty with two mechanics to fix my sierps, and Sgt Timofyieva to lead them.

More disruptiont hat you can shake a stick at!

Here is a very small tweak to what you already have in line.

Add Captain Vrachov to the Krasney soldaty unit, That gives you an extra medic (captain vrachov). Its the same list you have recently posted, but takes advantage of the extra medic, not to mention an extra hero

It would look like this:

Platoon 1
- 12 Krasnye Soldaty (+Captain Vrachov, 3 Grenade Launcher, medic, mechanic)
- 12 RPG Soldaty (+ Sergeant A. Tymofiyeva, 3 Rocket Launcher, medic, combat engineer)
- 3 RPG Kolossus (Sergeant)
- Hetman (Sergeant)
- 2 Sierp (Sergeant)

Bringing the list to 1990 points.
10 Leadership points.

Its a good list for high point games. But that has a total of 11 disruption points. Its unwieldy in 2000 point games as not many opponents will be able to be reduced below their commanders LP.

For example, a therian army who has tiamat and has a total LP of 15, you cant knock their LP below 10... so all that extra disruption is kinda wasted....

Admittedly, Tiamat would make it hard, but that's what all those snipers are for.

I think you may be missing my point though.

You cant reduce an armies LP below the army commander's LP.

For an army to be able to be reduced by 11 LP, you would need to face a force that has over 20 LP to make full use of the amount of disruption in your list. Generally, that means fighting against an army that well exceeds 4000 AP and has filled over 2 platoons.

Once you remove Tiamat, then all the LP that is left might be around 4 points in a full platoon, yet again making 11 points of disruption quite unnecessary.

[edit]
For a 2k AP list, I cant see anything above 5-6 disruption points to be useful (reducing the list by one LP for each unit in the platoon).

Adding Vrachov would certainly be a better choice for a leader wouldn't he? I guess the only thing that concerns me now is the fact that the specialists in the soldaty units don't appear to be optimal, but until I can afford more they will have to do.

Thanks again, and it looks like The Warstore is going to get a decent sized order in the next couple of days.
