Me and my buddy both got into 40k a few months ago, I got a megaforce and a devastator squad box and the Macrage box (for the rulebook and extra sm squad). I decided to start my own chapter and wnt with Trust your battlebrothers and cleanse and purify; took have pride in your colours and Eye to Eye for my drawbacks. Traded parts with my buddy so my army list looks like this:
1 10man tac squad 205pts las plas
1 10man tac squad 192pts 2x flamers
1 5man dev squad 218pts 2xmissle 2x las and vet. sarge w/pf and storm bolter
1 5man dev squad 223 pts 2x heavy bloter 2x plas cannon and vet. sarge w/ power sword and storm bolter
1 5man term. assult 235pts (lightning claws) sarge w/chainfist and storm bolter
1 Razorback 115pts Heavybolter turret, pintle mounted stormbolter and dozer blade
1 dreadnaught 115pts flamer on the close combat arm assult cannon for the other (bought this one used so I cant change it)
Chapter Master 110pts w/master crafted power wep and storm bolter
1 5man cmd squad w/ apoth. standard bearer(sacred standard). Champ, marine w/plas gun and vet. sarge w/combiplas and cc wep.
We decided to play a 500 pt campaign on the games workshop site (I have 575pts to work with right meow) and he usually uses his wraithlord, dark reaper squad, 2 autarchs (1 with a reaper launcher) and a few quardian squads. This shouldnt be a problem for my army, I know but I cant fucus my devs on the reapers cuz he deploys the wraithlord out front and I cant let it get to close combat. My tac squads are always stuck behind cover cuz of the reapers, and end up getting screwed hard when his striking scorps hit them, my dreadnaught is turret-fodder to his fire dragons, and hever seems to be able to get the wraithlord before it gets to cc and sheds my dreadnaughts armor w/ its pf and wraithblade (alternatively its starcannon or whatever the eldar las equivalant is called), any ideas? help please?
