Lego,
Just wondering if you notice this issue.
I'm using Firefox 2.0.0.9.
When I right click and open in new tab, if I do multiples it lags my whole system and I'll often get a missed click or mis-rightclick somewhere else in the page instead of where I want.
Doesn't matter if I have anything else open or not.
I don't have anything running that would cause this issue (like a virus scanner) and I can't find any information on firefox saying it's a known issue.
Sounds strange, and is not something I have experienced myself (firefox 2.0.0.12). I would recommend you upgrade to the latest version - if anything because there are some security issues in the version you are using right now. There have been quite a few memory related bugs with tabs and firefox and I wonder if it is one of them. Upgrade and let me know if it still happens, and if so what version of windows you have and what firefox plugins you have (if any).

Still quite strange. I wonder if there is a chance that adblock is intercepting some javascript somewhere and making it fall into an infinite loop? Can you try disabling adblock just for a test and seeing if it makes a difference?
