Man dakka has been horribly slow all day.

I can't seem to turn the dakka ads off.

I have been testing the load (and am done testing now so it will be faster again). Make sure your 'Disable ads' checkbox is set in your profile, then logout, go to the home page, login again and they should be turned off (I had to restart the server to refresh something which will have upset the ad settings for a few people potentially).

Did that a few times.

Just did it again.

I still see the ads.

I'll just crush them with adblock I guess.

Try clearing your dakka cookies too. Do you stay logged in if you go to the dakka homepage?

Silly me, I adblocked them already. lol so I won't know if it works or not.
