what is a good Autocannon to use to make a Cadian sentinel?
the HW ones are too long, imho.

Maybe cut the Heavy Weapon ones down a bit?

Go to ebay, or some place where they sell some of the old models. They have a shorter barrel.
And if you dont want to do that, just buy the normal ones, and cut them down.
There isnt much choice, I must add. There are three models using the Autocannon.

1) Heavy weapon team.

2) Sentinel.

3) Predator destructor.

The easiest is to take a shortened auto-cannon. Thats the easiest.

Most common is probably the one from the Heavy Weapons team. Unless you use it in your army. Also a heavy weapon team is quite cheap. Only 100 DKK (Approximately 10 pound sterling.).
Take said Autocannon and cut it down. I think that if you mount it sideways, the result wont be catastrophic.

Seeing that you have that much money, why dont you send me some? Also I dont think they will fit on your Sentinel. Go with the HW set. It wont let you down, unless youve have to little IQ to glue a gun on a Sentinel. Which shouldnt be a problem as you can type here...

Its math. The HW set gives you guns, and bits. Its 100 DKK (The valuta here in my home country.), VS the 60 DKK. Compared to the HW set the FW gun is just the gun. No more no less. Seeing that you play IG, you can use the additional parts from the HW set.

FW used to (maybe still does) sell an autocannon for their Salamanders. You used to be able to buy it separately along with an ammo can. But to be honest, I would not use it on a Sentinel personally. The barrel was too fat and it had a loading tray instead of a magazine... But you might look into it- perhaps you can slightly convert it to your needs (if you really want to cut up FW stuff that already cost you an arm and a leg)...

i even have the ability to type and not be an at the same time, unlike some folks!

and i'm using magnets instead of glue, that is if i can figure out the whole magnetism thingy...

I have lots of the IG old metal ones they're shorter than the plastic ones, but bulkier. You would have to cut off the ammo magazine to fit them on a sentinal I think. If you want them PM me? maybe we can trade?
