Painlord Titan Princeps of Slaanesh

I used to run my Emperor's Children as an all-assault army, then pretty much gave up on that with the nerf to daemons, uncharacterful characters, weak champions, non-fearless squads.... ok the list goes on but that's enough.
Anyway, I'm wanting to get in there and mix things up again and get away from the shooty, so how does this look?
HQ
Chaos Lord, Bike, Daemon weapon - 160
Daemon Prince, Wings, Mark of Slaanesh, Lash of Submission - 155
Troops
5 Noisemarines, blastmaster, 2 sonic blasters - 150
5 Noisemarines, blastmaster, 2 sonic blasters - 150
5 Noisemarines, blastmaster, 2 sonic blasters - 150
7 lesser daemons - 91
7 lesser daemons - 91
6 lesser daemons - 78
Elites
10 Chosen, Icon of Slaanesh, Aspiring Champion w/ powerfist, 3 pairs of lightning claws, 1 Meltagun, 3 Meltabombs - 320
Fast Attack
10 Raptors, Icon of Slaanesh, meltagun, flamer, Aspiring Champion with 2x lightning claws and meltabombs - 285
Heavy Support
Vindicator, Daemonic Possession - 145
2 Obliterators - 150
1 Obliterator - 75
Total - 2,000 on the dot
Ok so it's more balanced than all assault. The one thing that makes me really nervous is only 2 icons on the front lines, meaning if the enemy's got lots of firepower he might take out my daemons early. Debating dropping 1 daemon to give two noisemarines or the chaos lord a personal icon. Vindicator is there for anti-heavy infantry and tanks and to take fire, obliterators will probably be deepstruck near the advancing squads to pop tanks at close range rather than hanging back, and the lord and prince will give support, prince of course lashing things closer to get into assault.
I really like the non-Slaanesh lord with the chosen or raptors, as they're all I5 so his attacks don't remove the chance for the normal squad members to strike.

The troop section is a bit weak.
Too less Noise Marines and the army has only two units which can deliver the Daemons.
I'd drop the Chosen and beef up the NM squads, and add another Obliterator (2 per squad).

Don't you think that makes my assault weak though? It'd be left up to a single squad to do all the work. I usually include 10-man strong undivided squads full of guns for the troops section but this time I thought I'd just reserve that slot for some supporting firepower.
I also considered a rhino full of 10 normal undivided marines as an assault force to go along with the raptors, maybe even shield them from fire on the way in. Think that would be a decent replacement for the chosen?

I prefer a Rhino NM squad led by an AC with power weapon and doom siren (one of the best weapons in the game).
Take two as they can run in tandem, leap frogging forward...

I feel cheated paying for the new noisemarines to send them into assault, when the old ones were just capable of so much more for cheaper. The squad I mention carries a powerfist for dealing with tougher targets, as well as a meltagun and flamer. I wouldn't mind if the noisemarine squads could carry some nice cheap weaponry too, but the blastmaster is 40 points compared to the 10 it used to be. Do you really have good luck with them?

Recently, I played a game vs a drop podded BT army,
and the nice drive-by Rhino NM squads killed the drop podded Crusaders mostly with the doom siren.
As I run 3x2 Obliterators, who are able to take away serious threads quickly, my NM ACs only get power weapons.

Call me spoiled but the old days of having ACs with rerolls, extra attacks and Strength 5 makes me cry when I see these new ones that are outclassed in every way by Imperial counterparts.
I'll give it a try. Drive-by sirening sounds like it might work well.

Drive-by NM Rhino squads should work as long as you play carefully (approaching along a flank or holding back for counter strike).

drop the daemons for more foot troops, and/or troops in rhinos. that will allow you way more versatility and ability to match/counter the opponents moves effectively

The only reason I had the daemons was for stall tactics, and to get into btb with power weapons and the like. The army can't really gun down things like 3 wraithlord groups effectively before I'm going to need to charge, so the daemonettes are just to tie those things up.
But I guess I can go with just one squad. That's a good point you made.

putting aside my bias against them, the problem with daemons is as said above, your units to summon them are few in number to begin with. The daemon must be summoned off of one of your existing units so they lose out big time if the opponent realizes you have so many and just take out the units that could summon them before your bring all of them in. anyway your oblits should be able to cut a wraith lord down, so don't worry bout them to much

Alright, I modified the list a bit, what do you all think now?
HQ:
Lord, Bike, Daemon Weapon, Meltabombs - 165
Prince, wings, MoS, Lash - 155
Troops
5 Noisemarines, blastmaster, 3 sonic blasters - 155
5 Noisemarines, blastmaster, 3 sonic blasters - 155
10 Noisemarines, Champion w/ Doomsiren, Power weapon, personal icon - 250
Transport: Rhino, Extra Armour - 50
6 Lesser Daemons - 78
Elites
the same chosen from before - 320
Fast Attack
Same raptors from before - 285
Heavy Support
Vindicator, Daemonic Possession, Havoc Missle Launcher - 160
2 Obliterators - 150
1 Obliterator - 75
Total: 1,998
I do want to keep one squad of daemons because while they such at doing pretty much anything now, they're T4 and fearless and cheap. I can throw them at harlequinns to thin them out before my expensive troops get carved up by power weapons, or I can tarpit a wraithlord for a few turns.
The 4th obliterator mentioned is a good idea - but I have only 3!
I'm only loathe to use the noisemarine assault squad because I'm so used to what they COULD do before. But I guess I have to take what I can get.

Better.
A wraithlord won't be tarpitted for long once the fearless wounds start coming in. It's part of why demons suck.

It doesn't need to be long, just long enough to tear apart what I want to. One wraithlord stops an assault squad from going from squad to squad, even if it doesn't get around to killing them.
But yeah. Oh, to have the good old days. 6 daemonettes charge a wraithlord and drag it down easily....*sniff*

Tried out the second incarnation of this list today, and my opponent was not happy. He advanced towards me, and after a heavy pounding by my vindicator and noisemarines followed by a charge on three fronts by raptors, chosen, noisemarines, and the daemon prince, he gave up on turn 2. I didn't get to see the daemonettes or the other two oblits show.
I predict our next game will be different, though. He didn't know what to expect from chaos, and Tigurius failed to counter Lash both times. A bit more experience against chaos and I'm sure I'll be the one giving in.
Oh, and the doomsiren failed me horribly, hitting 6 marines and wounding only 1. Curses! It should do better next time!
