This is my Tzeentch defiler. I don't post on the net too much, so I've cross posted it to several forums.

I rather like the conversion. It fits the theme and mood of the force rather nicely.

I like the conversion, but paint wise it looks like you worked REALLY hard on the skull and the blue faces on the cannon, then got sick of it and left the rest at base coat. I think some highlighting/shading on the rest of the model would really put it over the top and give more of a solid, heavy look.

I also second Salvage on the "Now there are hot dogs for NO ONE!!! NOOOO OONEE!!!!! BWAHAHAHAHA!" I like that.

Actually, i just had a poor sense of color for highlighting. I used deadly nightshade on black to make a kind of black to purple look, but it didn't work out so well. What do you think I should highlight the legs and torso with?

Thanks for the feedback guys!

I generally highlight black with either a light blue for REALLY shiney power armor type things, or a dark grey for tanks and the like.
I would probably take a black wash to the purple panels to go from lighter in the center to darker around the edges.

I think highlighting the brass with some gold mixed with your brass color would make it look less flat. Also a thin brown wash can do wonders for making it look heavier.

The tubes I might highlight to a lighter purple so they look like a distinct material from the purple pannels.

I might also put some steely looking bits on the legs, perhaps on the piston shafts. Just personal taste, but it might help them look more ornate and complicated.

nice work, I like it. Try hitting the metallic bits with a black or brown(on the bronze parts) wash to give them some depth.
