After playing a game in which I used daemonhosts, I thought back and wondered if I had used an illegal configuration. I had a WH inquisitor Lord and was using the Daemonhosts as allies. Do I specifically need a DH inquisitor to use a daemonhost, or any inquisitor, so long as no Grey Knights are present in both cases?

Thanks.

.................................... Searching for Iscandar

It's a GW rule.

It isn't clear.

Personally, I could care less ruleswise.

It does seem to go directly against the fluff of Sisters, who are about as anti-chaos/psyker as grey knights are.

Without the crappy ruleset of the DH, of course.

That said, I don't believe it's been FAQ'd so you must bring a DH inquisitor...so you can.

Thanks Stelek.

As for fluff, my WH armies are always sans sisters, my lists with Daemonhosts are Inquisitors, stormies, and assassins of various types. Long live the radical.
