I was wondering how long the forum keeps you in the users browsing list before you get taken off. Let's assume I keep my computer on and IE set to this site. I sometimes PM people hoping for a quick response because they're listed as browsing but sometimes dont get a response. Granted, they could have recently left or haven't seen the white PM message.


Also I'd like to see if I can cement my status as a basement-dweller somehow by showing that I'm browsing this site for hours.

Timeout is 30 minutes after last activity but it will run a keepalive if you leave the page open, so it will not timeout until 30 minutes after you actually exit the site.
