Well, thought I would shoot off a nice little introduction of myself before venturing anywhere else on the boards, so here goes.

I've only been involved with Warhammer 40K for about 2 years or so, although I've been familiar with the various bits of fluff and the hobby in general for a bit longer. I currently have been building up a Space Marine army, Black Templar chapter. I chose them because I am somewhat of a history nerd, so I liked the tie-in with the Knights Templar, plus I like the look and feel of them. I also have some Grey Knights as well, but only two squads worth. So far I believe the Grey Knights are the best paint job I have done.

Now my only problem seems to be finding an active group to play with in my area. That's one of the primary reasons I decided to join this board. That and I wanted to see what fellow Warhammer fans were up to.

Both were appealing to me, I just can't reason starting another Chapter (I say that as I put the finishing touches on a Deathwing Sgt.). I really need to start learning to stick to my IG's....

Well, when I was getting ready to buy my first minis, I was torn between Black Templars and Grey Knights. I chose Black Templars for the aforementioned reason, but after awhile I thought: "Gee, those Grey Knights do look swell." So I ended up buying some because of their look, plust they do have a nice back story.
