Well I finally got some painting done this month I like how he turned out, he's one of the more detailed figures I've painted so it took awhile. I'm trying the more neutral base color rather than the usual green and I think it looks pretty good.
Very nice. I love the detail and the highlighting on the face; it really gives the model depth. For some reason though I'm not feeling the bolt pistol. I think it's just the model. Well done though.
Yeah the bolt pistol was added because I didnt like him holding a book like he was training some librarian noobs. I decided to give him a pistol but yeah it kinda looks like merlin pulling out a uzi on someone the more I look at it.
I tried out some blue ink on the staff and think it looks pretty swanky and force weapony.
that paint scheme is just so darn snazzy. i love it, him and the rest of your chapter. all great paint scheme...also great job on the new base colors, much better than before
