I know that between 2nd and 3rd edition Orks got bigger, also 2nd Edition Ork plastics are all those terrible "Grinning Goffs" so they would be out regardless. My question is, are GorkaMorka Orkas modern sized or small?

Thanks!

Gorkamorka Boyz were small, and similar in design to the old Rogue Trader Orks... but crappier.

It was with the special Gorkamorka models that they started introducing the newer look. The Slaver, Spanner, and Nobz all looked like the current Orks, although are slightly smaller.

3rd Edition saw the release of the newer, bigger Ork boyz.

Personally I think that those metal Gorkamorka orks are some of the nicest orks GW have made, especially the nob and spanner, they're my faves. They are a bit on the small side to fit in with a 40k army but they still look good regardless. They have a slightly more barbarian feel to me and look more like scavengers. Great for the Gorkamorka fluff but also how I tend to envisage ork society in general.

The original ork plastics from Rogue trader are kinda in the same size as the current Orks, just a lil weedier. Their heads were a perfect fit for the modern orks, and bodies look a lil weird but do-able with the newer arms and heads. The power claw that they had was pretty fly, lil small, but still sweet!
