IIRC at least Doom was elected once in an old 4F comic where the 4Fs brought democracy to Latveria.

Yeah like so I totally got into a arguement with this guy, so he was like, yeah they got it wrong in Iron Man. And I was totally like, so no way that movie was too awesomest to be wrong and he was all like Iron Man made his armor stuff in Nam and not Afghanistan and I was all like it could not have been that place cause that war was all like 50 years ago and so he said he said he had the book and I was all like yeah well your old. I showed him. Iron Man is the awesomnest and he like totally rules!!!1!
