"Let them, I have no immediate issue there. We can hit them with a missle barrage if we have to later. What I need to do is mop up the survivors of the battle between the iron warriors and the Dark Eldar Xenos. Nothing shall stand before the Leviathan. COme brother."

"Fine, I wonder if the beast still stalks us, I smelt it enter the camp earlier."

The sound of a horse snort turned the heads of Marius and Hemlock as Syrath mounted atop his horse approached;

"Hello gentlemen, it seems you have something that belongs to me, hand over the girl and none of your men will be executed or killed. I suggest you give me her, unless her mind is broken, I have no need for shattered instruments."

Syrath clams his Daemonic horse and pulls forth a blade that bursts into flames as Hemlock runs forward and shatters his Crozium, it explodes in seconds into thousands of shards.....

Marius shoulders Syrath in the gut hard enough to send the daemon sprawling.
"You can either leave now daemon or be beaten by me again., I really ont care which, the result will be the same in the lng run. But I suggest you take into account the fact that the Farseer has a... well a problem. Her memory has been decimated. She is of no use to you. Leave daemon before I am tempted to rip off your tail and feed it to you."

"Ah but you forget, without the girl my powers are in no way deminished by her runes!"

Syrath swipes at Marius with his flaming blade which re-forms into an axe as Marius tries to block it only to be knocked back, and second swipe opens up a gouge in Marius's armour. The beast opens its maw and unleshes a torrent of flames but keeps its distance;

"It seems the girl no longer posses a threat but could easily be a benefit if her mind is weak, a good servant indeed!"

Syrath re-mounts the horse and roars with glee.

Marius doesnt let the beast leave his blade slicing clean through one of the horses legs, the daemon leaps from is back and turns only to have Marius leap from the ground and tackle him out of the air. His shiel slamming into the daemon's hand shattering the bones and snapping the handle of the weapon there. Marius' sword hgacks down and severs the membrane in one of the daemon's wings making it useless. The daemon trys to unleash a torrent of fire on the wolf lod but Marius' hand snaps around the beasts neck causing the fire to become lodged in its throat buring back donw the beasts neck. A hefty blow smacks into Marius' shoulder, the beasts tail doing its best to dislodge the massive warrior but to know avail. THe daemon's most powerful blows unable to shft the Space Wolf. Marius brings his sword up and with a great amount of vitriol begins pounding the butt of it into the daemon's eyes, shattering the hard orbis bones and the front of the daemons skull. Marius feels great impacts on his armour, claws trying to rip it asunder but a squick slash to each shoulder makes the arms fall limp as he continues brutally bashing the front of the daemon's skull in. A few seconds later Marius feels the daemons legs shift under him and he finds himself n his back, the daemon atop him with one foot pressing his back into the snow. Marius grunts in a musement before slamming his shield into the daemon's ankle shattering bones and tearing the flesh apart with the shield's energy field. His body rises swiftly and his shield smashes into the daemn's gut sending him to the gorund and then his balde comes down in an arc aiming for the beasts chest. A hefty wing blocks its path and Marius feels the chin blade of his Frost sword dig in for a few seconds and then spray gore all over the snow as the monomolecular blade edge saw's through the wing sending it slumping to the ground in a cloud of blood and the sword travels home to the daemon's chest, lodging there and with a great revving sinks into the daemons chest and punches out the other side digging into the snowy ground.

With one hefty wrench Marius draws the weapon free. Leaving the daemon battered and useless, but still very much alive. Pulped eye sockets unable to see what the Wolf lord is doing it comes as a great shock when Marius plants the barrel of Hemlock's plasma pistol in the beasts eye and fires a incandescant pulse straight into the daemon's brain.

Hemlock screams in pain, his arm is looped off as Syrath's battered torso limps away sending bolts of pure warp fire (Bolt of Tzeentch, this will stun you), at Marius. He falls as the energy slams into his knees while Syrath slowly is able to form a cloak over his broken body and sneer;

"Sorry but must dash! I have buisness to attend too!"

Marius catches the bolt on his shield but is thrown off his feet at the concussive force. He stuggles to his feet with one of his armour servo's whining in protest but when he stands all he can see is Hemlock's ar cauteriseing. He moves over to the Wolf Priest and with a tap on his vox calls anouther, lesser wolf priest to give his mentor a bionic arm...

Syrath's broken and shattered form crawls away laughing and sneering, his nose and horns cracked and almost missing but still able to form some basic words. Hemlock, utterly raging grabs the other Wolf Priests Power Axe and raises it over the beast which laughs again as it re-forms into a black crow that lets out a gleeful cry as it flies away leaving most of its original form strewn across the field.

With another pair of shots Inquisitor Blackthorne sent the final mutant on its back, crippling the thing and disarming it. The mutant howled in pain and rage. Holstering his pistol, and picking up one of the rusted blades from the frozen ground Blackthorne walked up to the maimed heretic. "Now, tell me about where you came from, and where I can find your superiors. If you do this I will end your life quickly, if not.." Blackthorne plunged the knife into the heretics other hand,"I will finish you off as slow as I possibly can.".

"Lord....Lord.....Lord Syrath told us to remove threats  to our plans.....we saw you as a threat and moved in...he promised us a fate worse than death if we failed....we had to comply.....with his orders...."

A Black Crow looks down on the two, it lets out a shriek and flies down hissing and clawing at the Inquisitor with furious attacks. 

Snapping the hellpistol from its holster Ferron Blackthorne snapped a round into the crows breast, and swiftly turned the pistol and shot the mutant with a double tap to its head."Now, I just have to find a way to get to this Lord Syrath.". Remembering the Vox he toggled it on and called on it in high gothic "A hunter of darkness seeks aid, any hounds in the vicinity."
OOC: I am not metagaming, Hounds are used to help the hunter, and an inquisitor deffinately qualifies as a hunter, so nothing is meant specifically against(or for) the Space Wolves

"Only those of Khorne.....Syrath.....he is close and watching us....he....he...no my lord...oh no!"

The Crow snarls and slashes at Neck of the Hunter who falls back cowering stabbing at the crow to no avail, it hisses and cries;

"You have failed me, you die now scum!"

The Crow grows larger into a crocked and skeleton-like form, it grabs the hunter and raises a long sword to its neck;

"I'll gut you like a fish, I've no time for failure anymore and you will first my sate for vengeance!"

Inquisitor Blackthorne leaped back, realising his hellpistol had minimal effect on the Crow Blackthorne dropped the hellpistol and drew his Frost Axe. Swinging at the skeletal being Farron was blocked by the impromptu mutant shield, withdrawing the axe Farron started circling with skeletal warrior.

"You have no idea of the power that you are dealing with!"

Syrath raises his arm forming a shield of daemonic birds and bats that stop the blows of Farrons frost axe, Syrath disperses the shield and unleashes a barrage of warp fire and doom bolts that blow Farron back into the snow.

Slowly standing up and grabbing his hellpistol Inquisitor Blackthorne was muttering. However this muttering was not that of a mad man, but the litanies of exorcism he had learned upon the desolate hives of Armageddon. Bringing up his hellpistol he toggled it onto automatic and let loose a flurry of shots into the Daemon's chest.

The bat swarms did nothing, Syrath was thrown back but did not fall and clenched a fist of warp energy and slammed it into the ground beneath Farron leaving the Inquisitor gritting his teeth;

"Do you even think I can be killed Servant of the corpse!"

Continuing the litany Inquisitor Blackthorne looked for any weakness he could exploit, or failing that covering himself and trying his luck fleeing.

Syrath watched as the bright white sun light of the icy sun beamed down on him, an uneasy smille across forcing Syrath to cover himself with his cloak further obviously fearful of the sunlight.

OT: alas I cannot post a reply, heading out of town for a day, possibly til tomorrow

Its fine, just wanted to show a small weakness to a powerful character.

Marius lets it flee. The farseer was again in thier possesion and the Leviathan was planning a counter attack....

OT: BTW I am back, but I am back with some new Dakka
BIC: Realising he couldn't kill it Inquisitor blackthorne rapidly ran towards the various beams of light pertruding through the clouds, as long as he could keep this up he may be able to flee. Thumbing his vox, switching it to various channels he said "To Imperial Forces, This is inquisitor Blackthorne I require assistance near monoliths on a frigid plain, I will activate my emergency transmitter, help is needed urgently!".

"Yes flee! Run and cower in terror of Syrath hhahahahha!"

As Syrath sneers and cackles madly a beam of warp light from the black sun burns through the robes and heavy cloaks of Syrath, he says away from them obviously not anywhere near his full strentgh.

OOC: I' m not really going to waste our time with a random post that he continues running, so I will wait for a character event

Marius shakes his head with contempt and heads back into his command post.
"Come Hemlock, we have work to do."






(Sos for lack of replies had the girlfriend here for a few days )

"Well boy we've 'ad a message from an Inquisitor and with our little Eldar Friend I doubt he'll be happy, so what do you think we do?"

Hemlock awaits Marta while a Black feathered, Skull headed, flame eyed Crow looks down and cackles before flying off into the darkness of the night. Dodging hail and ice the Crow looks down on the bright flicker of fire and light in the night as it finds a Chaos Camp among the remains of a great fallen machine, digging into its grave and carving great fiery fissures into the earth while a great armored Warrior looms over them. Kremlin watches his troops but turns his attention to the Crow with lands and transforms into a weakened Syrath who sneers and laughs as he forms a pyramid with his boney, fleshless fingers;

"It seems our Space Wolf friends have inducted the Farseer as an ally and an Inquisitor has arrived and interrogated a tracker, he tried to reveal our location but I put a end to the tracker before his actions dammed ours and has sent a message to the Space Wolfs, this will possibly cause some tension and allow us more time."

The massive Sorcerer turned to Syrath, a dark gaze and burning eyes turning to the Daemon;

"Fine...I tire of these insects, they are annoying pests....but we must divert them....the Legion is another pest and if both collide, we can sweep them away in seconds...."

"I think that can be arranged my Lord, the Legion is clumsy and foolish and being grief-ridden children they are easy to trick and deceive, it will only take sometime milord. I will lead them both into a tight noose and hang them from a balcony of shame and ridicule and dance on their graves with out new toy har har har. "

With those Dark Words Syrath spread his arms and became a crow once again and flew into the darkness of the night, ready for his dark task to come into play.....

Marius shakes his head with amusement,
"We shall do to him what we did to the Inquisitors who tried to land on our homeland centuries ago. If they cause trouble, they will die."
