Those genestealers chasing marines photos cracked me up, especially the tickling one.
I agree with you on the deathleaper. From the photo angles you have shown so far that left claw does look odd.
And Hissy, I hear that a meal of Tau freshly popped out of their silly battle suits makes for a good cure when you are under the weather from overindulgence

Subjective term Ratiusss, good in termsss of modelling for Hive, bad in terms of gamesss for Hive. Hissy knows also you go to tournament with Ssspace Marinesss and not Hissy.
You wouldnt have enjoyed it there Hissy, you might be an excellent General but we need to work on my Commandering.

But in the meantime I got Loopy the Leaper done.
Im quite happy with the way he came out. He was my first Finecast model and I have to say he was ok condition. There was some flaky bits on him and one or two defects but being honest Im not particularly picky about that sort of thing, not when I've come from 2nd ed roots He turned out pretty well I feel.
Look Hissy here he is stalking through an old Ork fort with his buddies.

Im doing Swarmy in pieces to make sure its a good job since hes a lovely model. I have his tail, scything arms and gun arms done. I just need to do his hooves, carapace, feathering, base and a wash.

Well, while that debacle ends up once again in a mini apocalypse I'll show off the (finally) finished Genestealers. I ened up washing their secondary claws, some of the back carapace, head ridge and neck to give them a bit more definition and detail. They were very flat before.
Heres a before and after wash.
I cant remember if I showed off the Biovores before either so here they are with a slight wash on them too.
Up next I vow to finish off the last of the Termagants, about 20 of them to do, leaving another 10 Gargoyles, Stompy and some spore mines for completion.
(Unless I crack and get some Tyrannocytes).
