Well I've gotten enough Grey Knights done to put down the mandatory 2 Troop 1 HQ, and have annexed a pair of Land Raiders my Marines were never getting around to finishing and using, so I can field an army of these guys now.

Too few troops. You should get at least one full squad of GK, hopefully two. Also taking two LRs in a 1000 point game is worse than cheese. It's downright criminal! You will be hunted to death by a jury of your gaming peers if you ever play this with anyone but your friends.

I think you'll find that 2 raiders in 1000 points is worse than overkill. Sure you can play the army like this if you want, and can find someone willing to play. However, a much more realistic list would include at least 15 grey knights in power armor and maybe a terminator squad.

The vehicle upgrade entry (p. 19) says Psycannon bolts only affect Storm or Heavy Bolters. So "yes" but it only applies to the Pintle Mounted Storm Bolter. That's an, interesting use of 20 points there...

Ah, boo, I missed that part. I was looking forward to a hoard of AP4 bolter fire too...
I do intend to buff up the troop counts as I can, I just don't have the guys yet, and taking the two Land Raiders is the only way to bring the army up to the 1k point value of the month at the FLGS. The plan is to bring the army to a point where I have 3 units of 8 Knights, the Hero, the two Land Raiders, and a Dreadnought. From there I'm probably going to add in terminators because I do believe I can make some nice ones for free with spare parts that come with the guys I use for my Knights.
