Hey all,

I've been trying out an all Emperor's Children / MoS force and I feel like something is missing. Right now, I have Lucius, Fabius, 1 Chosen squad, 2 CSM squads, 2 Noise marine squads, 1 Havocs squad, 1 Predator, 1 Defiler, 1 Land Raider (annexed from my Imperial forces). I plan to build my own Lord and hopefully greatly expand my number of Sonic Blaster models for Apocalypse if a Bitz Pack ever appears. I am also working on a Slaanesh Subjugator. I have no fast attack and was wondering which is more appropriate in this kind of army; Raptors or Bikes?

Also, I have been toying around with the idea of lightly exploring other Marks. I do not want to field Berserkers, but was thinking more along the lines of Tzeentch or Nurgle. I would love to convert and model up some Plague Marines, but I think Thousand Sons may better suite my needs. Thoughts? Friendly, useful suggestions?

You have a move-and-fire army.

You have enough mobility.

This is my experience:

You want two HQ's casting Lash or Warptime. DP or Sorc, I prefer DP.

You want obliterators for your heavy slots, else you are just a fancy imperial force with 'evil guyz here' symbols.

For troops, having a PW sarge and a blastmaster plus 1 or 2 extra bodies with no sonic blasters is IMO best.

For example:

PW Sarge
Sonic Blaster Marines x5
Blastmaster Marine x5
Bolter Marine

As an example of mixing TS with EC, here's my list.

It's quite nasty.

Raptors with the Mark of Slaanesh are an excellent addition to any EC army. I use them and am quite happy with them (and they are only going to get better in 5th!). Outfit them with two specials (melta or flamer) to match their role in combat. I prefer the meltas myself for a little super-mobile tank busting.

Stelek is right on about the Obliterators. They are your best bet for Heavy Support. Your Raptors can use their Icon to bring the Oblits in anywhere you like. It can be a nasty suprise for your opponent!
