So if you post in a thread you auto-subscribe, right?

So when I look at someone's profile and I want to see what they've
subscribed to, why don't I just jump to threads they've posted in? I
know the two lists are different, but how is it functional to have
subscribe automatically occur upon posting?

Because people can also click 'subscribe' at the bottom of a thread to keep watching it as well as the auto-subscribe for threads they have posted in. They can technically unsubscribe from threads as well (but I dont think I have made it very accessible yet)

Can I disable auto-subscribe? I wanted to tag specific
threads for watching. (maybe I should just post less to
ease the confusion)

Not right now I am afraid but if there is enough demand for it I might get around to adding it.
