Just finished using the search tool.. nothing about this that I could find.

GW decided not to include any base at all in the ork warbiker box set, pretty cool. :S I'm tired of them falling over in my test games, and need to get them ready for summer tourneys. Also tired of having to count a partial for every extended arm or spike caught in a template.

Were there warbikes at adepticon? What base size was everyone using? Anyone have a semi-official ruling handy? I think last time I visited a discussion like this it was about marine bikes, well at least they come with a base.

Whatever fits, would be my best guess. Traditionally, bikes use Cavalry bases, but I've seen a lot of people use MC bases, too.

Litko Aerosystems makes nice "pill" bases.

The official rules for what size base a model can be mounted on are found on page 6 of the Warhammer 40,000 4th edition rulebook under the heading 'Bases'.

And if you're looking to purchase bases, take a look at the bases from Dragon Forge Design.

Gotta be supplied with something or there is no guideline.

The official rules are clear. The size base supplied is the minimum size it can be mounted on. No base means no base is required as it is in essence a '0 mm' base.

I just asked the games workshop staff if its normal, they said : well normally you should get bases for every model you should be able to make out of the box, and so they gave me 2 extra bases (as I did get 1 of them which is a cavalry base ) sry for necrothread :s

Not all the Warbiker kits are supplied Base-less.

The wife has 12 Warbikers, 9 came with the Cavalry "Pill Bases"; 3 came with none.

They are all now on Pills.
