Hello, not sure how these usually roll but here goes... I have for the most part been an online gamer, EQ, WoW... those 2 alone occupied to much of my life so it was time for me to be productive in other area's... so what do I do? Find another addiction of course, welcome Warhammer 40K, my wife is not loving me atm lol . None the less here I am believe it or not with her support. I often drop in here at the Dakka Dakka forums to lurk, but I have burning itching questions that cannot be answered by lurking alone !! Thanks for your time and I am glad to be apart of the community.

Been into 40k for about 3 months, just finished getting the mini's for my first army, Tyranids, about 1500ish, just about got my 1250 list done, gonna post it and let the hashing and rehashing begin!

I think the main difference is that golfers just lose their balls in the woods. We on the other hand... well... Sure, hun, I'm going to mow the lawn right now! Bye guys!

Thanks for the welcome everyone and yea I hear ya... I started with paintball, then had my first kiddo and realized that was to expensive of a hobby, sold my stuff and moved to golf which was great for awile (even tho I stunk up the coarse). Then we had our second child and woah golf sure got a spotlight on how expensive it was so I sold my stuff and moved to disc golf... talk about a cheap sport, the most expensive high end top dollar items are like 14$, my wife was sold on that idea. Needless to say, another child and about 4 years later here I am with 40k and my Nid army and the support of my wife, although its not free (the support that is, you know, the hunny my feet hurt kinda paybacks).
