Usless against mech armies. but maybe.. just maybe has a chance against shooty and assault armies?
6 squads of 15 Bloodletters with Icons
The masque
Turn 1 Letters blink in, Masque lashes everything into worst shooting configuration (push heavy weapons behind buildings, push squads infront of each other etc).
Turn 2 more letters icon in and slanesh lashes stuff close for blood letter CC. Ignore armor or charge it if it gets too close. With no grenades and no fleet korn really needs slanesh's lash.

You are still going to get manhandled by every type of army out there. Concentrated standard infantry fire will drop bloodletters no problem and there's only so much damage that the masque can cause, which is not nearly enough to cover this army. A shooty army will decimate the blootletters who might get one charge in, an assault army will assault the bloodletters before they can get their charge bonus and as you said a mech army will tear you apart. So it's pretty much screwed against everything. Welcome to the new demons: pretty much useless.

You can try and finesse it all you want.
Many armies are unaffected by the lash for various reasons, but the biggest one is demons move slow. What doesn't move slow, sucks and costs alot--and costs you games in 5th edition.
I've wiped my friends marine army out to a man several times, with almost all of my armies.
Lost to KP's every single time.
You can play locally where that stuff doesn't matter, and no one will want to play you.
You can play in tournaments, but the scenario will come up where you lose--every time. Here's a few:
Reserves. I'm in reserve with most of my army. YOU deep strike on turn 1 (see, you HAVE to). Where are you going to land? My side of the board? I come on, I shoot, I assault, I win. Your side? I come, I setup, I shoot, I shoot, I win.
I've got a mobile army. I stick everything into transports and zoom around the table edges. Now you deep strike. So, go ahead--I've got half my mobile army on one side, half on the other. Deep strike where you want.
So, that's a scenario that bones you. And almost any army that bones you.
Try the demonbomb against a godzilla list. Yeah, good luck with that one. Out shot, out assaulted, every time. You aren't even in the same boat. He has a battleship, you have a sailboat.
Ork or nid horde will suck it up. You want to play trade models with a horde? They have more. Alot more. You can't win the attrition.
Hell, a guard conscript platoon will love tarpitting you. Oh, gonna move me 6"? Great, I'm stretched in front of my line 50". Move me. I'm screened from whatever pathetic shooting you have, and after I'm done shooting you I'll laugh as you charge my conscripts. I'll shoot down all of your MC over said combat, then throw my reserve 100+ guardsmen into whatever you've got left and just laugh and laugh as your elite combat troops get owned in CC.

Take anyones advice who claims that he can wipe out half an army in one turn of shooting.... when he's moving onto the board (so no heavy weapons), and doesn't know exactly how many units he's going to get...... and doesn't take into consideration that you can hide behind trees, jump out, and assault him....... with a grain of salt. And as far as the "this army is gonna suck in 5th ed" arguement works.... from what I've heard about 5th ed, you can't shoot over your own guys..... which means much less enemy fire coming into Ds'ing troops.... seems like a winning combination to me. Also, you're not going to have to worry about very mobile army lists, as skimmers get a lot easier to kill, thus, will go away.
And as far as you splitting your mobile army in half? That's a great way for you to lose.... the army deepstrikes and then only has to face the guns of half your mobile army, and then only has to kill half your mobile army...... with their entire army. You'll find it's very easy to kill half an enemies army when you get to use your entire army.
And as far as nids goes...... you're outshot, not outassaulted. Daemons are a thousand times better than nids in combat.... know why? Daemons have power weapons and invulnrable saves, some nids have rending and no invulnrable saves.
Ork or nid horde? The game ends in six turns, and the daemons are in combat, where they excel, for 5 turns. Who knows.... maybe the bloodletters will trip over all the dead piles of orks. However this will be one of the toughest fights. Daemons are mainly built for killing marines... .and orks die just as well as marines, there are just more of them. Fortunatly.... orks don't kill as well as marines do, because they're only str 3.
And if you throw 100 conscripts into a unit of bloodletters.... you're going to have 100 conscripts lose combat, break, and get ran down.

Because the relentless special rule/vehicles/slow&purposeful don't exist right?

http://warseer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=126571 According to this thread you can.

Hopefully the IG player has some kind of idea how to use Conscripts as a tar pit unit and adds a Commissar for some fearless fun.

Maybe you should play a properly run shooty army.
I know my DE laugh at the demon army. 17 templates for the little bastards, 13 dark lances for the vehicles and MC.
Can't kill 5 MC? Yeah, sure. Can't kill 40 demons? 20 nurgling bases?
Oh right, NOBODY uses that DE army. lol
My Tau can do it. My IG can do it.
My chaos can do it. My marines drop pod on top of you. Or even better, they drop in a corner far from your stupid ass army and beg you to drop piecemeal so they can get a VP win since you'll take forever to get into CC.
Oh and SW own demons, btw. Sorry, I'm NEVER outnumbered. Have a nice day, and welcome to 5th edition!
Oh right, my Nids can do it, and if you really believe ANY combination of demons can drop near a nidzilla or stealershock list and take it, your a fruitcase. My nidzilla takes it's 8 MC and 32 gaunts and 30 stealers, and ties you into little itty bitty crybaby demons.
Don't take it with a grain of salt. Please, support the hobby. BUY DEMONS! Just make sure you have room on the shelf. They do great against new players and the inexperienced, so they'll kick some ass for you for a while. Then you'll play a army you can't beat, and an opponent as good as (or better) than you are; and cry over the milk you spilled. Don't man. I'll buy it off you in a few years off ebay. File the mold lines off for me, k?

Oh, you can fire over your own guys. That leaked PDF is very old indeed.
If you read the AT-43 rules, and look up the zone of fire...
Wellp, all I can hope for....

Stelek, do you take it upon yourself to be a dick to everyone on this forum?
I'm asking because while many of us appreciate advice being given in a straight-up, forward manner, you seem to like to cross the line and personally offend.
You can tell the OP that the list isn't going to work without giving everyone the visual impression that you're spitting in his face in the process.

Now that I've done a decent job of making myself look like an ass, I'll say that I probably should have inquired further when the OP's list is CC-oriented yet you started with "Maybe you should play a properly run shooty army."
