I've got more experience with dark angels than with dark eldar...
I love the dark angel list. its got all sorts of firepower. i can't really comment on it other than to say you have absolutely zero countercharge when you run sam instead of a company master. but then i scroll down and see power fists in your tac squads. i just assumed you'd combat squad them. nevermind. No critiques here.
The raider force im used to playing runs an archite and warp beasts and 6 wyches instead of warriors. I'm just not qualified to give any criticism of it. Its the list i will suggest you take to a tourney though. Primarily because if i have no idea how to play against it, then you can bet that most RTT attendees will be flabergasted by it. if its painted up and looks cool, always take the non-marine list to the tourney over the marine list. usually people will thank you for working them over, since they don't get to see it very often.

Yeah, I figure most people will be surprised to see a Dark Eldar force so I often take that to local tournaments. I did bust out an all Ravenwing force for the last local tournament (1,000 points) and it had a similar effect, no one was used to facing an army like that. If I had enough bikes for 2,000 points I'd probably make up a Ravenwing force, but alas...

No wonder you champion Dark Angels so much, you like to use illegal lists. I count 5 heavy support selections... :p

Well, first I would say is drop the second dev squad and the either a Whirly or a Pred. That will cut your hevies down to legal. Also for counter charge you may want to drop a landspeeder and use a bike squad instead with the full 6 and possibly the Attack bike if you have he points. That should give you enough counter charge for what you are likely to have charging you with that much fire power.

In the DE list, do you really need more than 1 reaver jetbike unit?

That's what I get for writing my lists at work instead of working....
Ratbarf: Good suggestions. That's a good way to get some AT and some counter-attack (and make my list legal). If I cut the Whirlie, the ML Dev squad and the LS Tornado that frees up 335 points which is pretty much a RW squad with Meltas, Apothecary and Attack Bike. I could also cut just the Whirlie and the ML Dev squad and take another Tac squad sans Powerfist.
Stelek: What would you suggest instead? I like the units for mobile tank hunting (you only thought you were hiding that Trukk), annoying my opponent and even assaulting small units without power weapons. I used to use them as assault based troops but I found that the one attack each just means they charge in and die. Not bad for a Succubus delivery system or a supporting charge but too expensive for those uses.

Or if you were going gunline you could drop the whirly and extra devs and getyourself two techmarines with four servitors to boosts those preds survability.

Both lists are strong.
The mech DA list is illegal. I'd take a 3rd Pred instead of a Whirlwind and replace the Dev's by a fully kitted out RW Assault squadron.
The DE list needs two wwp's. Otherwise, if you have not enough terrain to hide your Skimmers (and you will NOT have enough terrain anyway) and the opponent gets first turn, then you are in trouble.

Yeah I know it's illegal... see above.
You don't think I'd be a little lite on the AT department without those extra lascannons? I like the idea of dropping the 5-man squad and the Whirlwind for the RW squad. What about dropping the Whirlwind and Dev Squad for a unit of DW? That would give me another assault cannon and some powerful counter-assault.
I need to start practicing with a webway portal list. I've never actually used one before. I'm more comfortable with the Skimmer-based force, but that may be the fact that the local metagame is rather Ork heavy and my skimmers are relatively safe. Maybe I'll make a 2,000 point WWP force for critique and give it a whirl.
