I play chaos and I'm in a 1500 pt game tonight. It could
be 2 v 2 or 4 way melee I don't know yet anyway I want to
be prepared for both. Here's my list:

155 = Daemon prince + wings + mos + los
165 = Kharn
307 = Plague marines x 9, + champ with pwr fist + personal icon + 2x meltas + rhino (squad and Kharn attached)
190 = Chaos marines x 10, + lascannon + flamer
125 = Chosen x 5, iocg, missile launcher
200 = Terminators x 5, multi-melta x 5, champ with chainfist
225 = obliterators
135 = predator + tllc + hvy bolters

Any suggestions on what i should change would be appreciated.
I was going to infiltrate the chosen in a building then deepstrike
the termies for some melta goodness, hopefully the chosen and
termies can take away some aggro from the rhino. I'm pretty
much up for changing anything.

Eh, you're playing tonight, but open to change anything? You must have a hell of a mini collection.

Las/flamer--why?

An uber squad in a Rhino--the only Rhino in the army, too!--is just asking for entanglement. I hope you're using the Rhino as cover/an LoS-blocker and not as a transport.

Termies can't have multimeltas. You mean combi-meltas? Also, Termie champ is a waste. Better to get another PF instead.

Pred has a nonsensical layout. Drop the HBs or get the autocannon. I can see getting the HBs to give the Pred a secondary role if the TL LC gets destroyed, but not when the HB sponsons cost so much in the Chaos dex.

You have on spare HS slot, right? Better to split the Oblits into a 1-man squad and a 2-man squad, then.

I do that cause a flamer is dirt cheap and it stops
em from rushing the squad with troops.

Yea I meant combi-meltas, I agree with you on the PF thing.

I just do that cause you can move and shoot all the weapons, makes for a much more mobile anti-skimmer choice

Yea that makes sense, I really wanted to put in a vindicator, and maybe switch out kharn for a sorc with another los.
I dunno any help is appreciated. What success has anyone else had with chaos against the armies I'm facing?

Las/flamer: Fair enough.

Rhino: Be realistic. Nothing's going to draw aggro away from a Rhino with Kharn in it. It's also a bit of a waste of a Pred, isn't it? You paid 135 points for it and now all it will do is move 12" a turn and die for Kharn. A Vindicator would make more sense for this, since it needs to rush forward to bring its cannon to bear anyway. Better yet, a second, empty Rhino.

Pred: But if it's moving at full speed to shield the Kharnmobile, it won't get to shoot anything at all. Besides, what skimmers are you hurting with HBs? The really dangerous ones (Tau and Eldar grav tanks) don't care about them. Like I said, if this was the SM codex and HB sponsons were cheap, it would be a fairly good diea to bring the sponson HBs just in case, but in the CSM dex you pay a hefty amount of points for something you often won't get any use out of.
