I searched before I posted this, but it yielded no answer.

As you probably guessed by now, my question is this: Can you combine Terminator Honours with a Space Marine Commander, Librarian or Chaplain? RAW, I can't see a reason why not. On the other hand, it seems so stupid: since they are all hardened veterans and all above the rank of Veteran Sergeant.

Per RAW, yes you can. Expect to see this eliminated with the new SM codex coming out this Fall.

Of course they can. Commanders, Librarians and Chaplains are some of the only characters with access to the armoury that didn't have to take Terminator Honours to get that access.

Yup. Though they've been removing it as an option from the revised SM codices (BA, DA).
