A Wolf Lord is mandatory, you have no choice.
Mine rides a bike with MotW, frost blade, bolt pisto, belt of Russ.
Add the Rune Priest for gating, the gated unit should have meltas.
My RP has terminator armour, combi-melta, frost blade.

Storm Claws on foot are not a must have, Grey Slayers (with 2 special weapons) can do the same job.

I'd beef up the 2nd GS squad and drop the SCs on foot, replacing them by Wolves,
because Wolves can be in cc in first turn able to silence guns.

Add a rune priest, drop the storm claws and replace them with a grey slayer squad. Take the fast attack wolves, I can't remember what they're exactly called. They're really really good. For 10 points you get a space marine with 2 attacks that scouts and moves as cavalry they even know no fear, they have a low save but it doesn't matter since you can be in combat turn 1 and if you aren't you opponent will have to deal with them which saves shooting to your other units.

"But remember that there are over 1000 chapters of spase marienz! So the SM codex has to cover over 1000 different kinds of spase marienz! Codex CSM only has to cover 1 kind (the Chaos kind). And I don't even think Eldar are a kind of spase marienz at all. Hurr!"

It's a company which specialises in the selling of plastic representations of Elves, Goblins, and 9 foot tall superhuman soldiers from the future - have you ever considered that, as adults, it is US that is intruding upon THEIR world?

My question is why? 13th company is not supported anymore, it'll be the way of Apocrap soon anyway.

Well, he can always use it as a standard SW force. Only the Wulfen (and not necessarily all of them) go to waste.

Thanks for pointing out that I need a wolf lord, my brain just defaulted when I looked at the list and thought it was a 0-1. As to why, no real reason not that Im buying the minis for it really I just wanted to try it and see how they played.

Thanks
Gareth

They are a very in your face army rush army. Use scouts and your wolves to get as close as you can as quick as you can. The only problem this army faces is a lack of anti-tank and a lack of mobility. A fast skimming enemy will be able to stay away from you and shoot you down from afar, particularly crisis suits and stealth suits.

Static gunlines tend not to fair as well, and assault armies are similar to yours.

The situation gets better in the 5th edition, when fast Skimmer armies get nerfed.
