Well, I did not get a chance to take a whoopin from Alpahrius and I have a hopeful score to settle with spmusubi, so I might try and throw my hat into the ring on this one.

Just remember...you are all unique, just like everybody else.

I'm supposed to be goin to the Ren Faire that weekend with some friends, but if it proves to be too hot or getting cancelled I'll be at the RTT. I have a 2000 pt list I've been working with for awhile now that I want to try in a tournament setting.

I play

I will magnetize (now doing LED as well) your models for you, send me a DM!

Well, barring any unexpected disasters, the Guard will be there to deliver it, pleasantly of course

@Ozy, I just want to make sure that you are clear that the RTT is next Saturday not "this" Saturday.

Do they allow any Imperial Armor rules?

I'm going to bring the Dakka Tau army from Adepticon and I'd love to use the Tetras.

I play (click on icons to see pics): DQ:70+S++G(FAQ)M++B-I++Pw40k92/f-D+++A+++/areWD104R+T(D)DM+++
yakface's 40K rule #1: Although the rules allow you to use modeling to your advantage, how badly do you need to win your toy soldier games?
yakface's 40K rule #2: Friends don't let friends start a MEQ army.
yakface's 40K rule #3: Codex does not ALWAYS trump the rulebook, so please don't say that!

Darrian: Yeah, mistyped. I'll be down in SoCal this weekend as well for my Mom's 50th B-day. The fencing tournament is on the 10th. :(

I have been allowed to use Chapter Approved things in the past, but I do not know about IA. Never hurts to ask of course.

Who should I be asking? I don't see the tournament on the Game Empire calender and I have no idea who the tournament organizer is or how to contact him.

Getting my broom incase there is shenanigans.

Call Travis at (626)304-9333

You should leave them at home anyways, you need to practice for the LVGT.

I still have your crisis suit that I will paint up shortly.

Good point. I will definitely heed your advice and play without the tetras even if their rules are allowed.

@Yakface, sorry I have not gotten back to you sooner but work has been crazy with all my clients getting in shape for summer. Tetras are not allowed in the RTT.

See you on the 10th.

On the day of release? That could get....interesting. Definitely fun...just lots of potential rules issues.

We have had the 5th ed book for weeks and we are all pretty familiar with it. We have been playing 5th ed games in the store since the book came in. I think Game Empire will have the books for sale the day before.

Getting my broom incase there is shenanigans.

When I talked to Chuck last, he said that they are going to be using 4th edition rules and use the 5th edition missions. I think that is better since not everyone is familiar with the 5th edition rules just yet.

Speaking of Game Empire, Yak and I have a game there Sunday, how are they for true LOS terrain? Last time I was there they had a lot of felt and the CoD buildings.
