Jeremiah

Zerkova

Epic Goreshade

Epic Severius

I think they all look pretty good, with Jeremiah looking the best. Zerkova's face kind of looks weird, but I think it's just the angle.

Over on TGN they mention the following:

Mercenary Epic Eiryss, Angel of Retribution Solo

Hordes

Trollblood Epic Warlock Madrak

Circle Orboros Epic Warlock Kaya & Laris

Legion of Everblight Epic Warlock Lylyth

Skorne Epic Warlock Morghoul

All this plus the above casters = AWESOME! PP, not GW, has my money for the summer!

Anyone else think Jeremiah's horse is about to keel over and die?

There is an attitude that not having an insanely optimized, one shot, six stage, omnidirectional, inevitable, mousetrap of an assassin list army somehow means that you have foolishly wasted your life building 500 points of pure, 24 karat, hand rolled, fine, cuban fail. That attitude has been shown, under laboratory conditions, to cause cancer of the fun gland.

Damn, I like that Jeremiah. He looks like he's actually seen combat, and the weariness in his pose recalls a Remington sculpture. The Civil War elements to him go with the weary pose really, really well. Brilliant work. Well, for those of us who don't like minis that are all screaming and pointing their weapons in opposite directions.

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!

I like the weary horse better than all the prancing ponies they've
been feeding us.

Jeremiah's pose reminds me more of the popular End of the Trail paintings and sculptures. The one that has a native american on horse back, I think at the end of the Trail of Tears. Anyways I've always liked the subject, even if it is over done, so I really like the pose.

Epic Goreshade is a major improvement over the original IMHO, which is a nice surprise. He actually looks eldritch, as opposed to a reject from KISS.

The Sev and the Khador chick are so-so. Both suffer from bad posing, the bane of most PP figs.

There's a preview in NQ #19 in July so I'll be fielding (as a proxy) him in two months. You can wait another month if you like.

Zerkova is terrible... but at least Goreshade has a proper sword (not a sword-like club).

And for the record, I thought of that song when I first saw the fig befor I saw the post I quoted and had already planned to comment with it. That guy's post just seemed convenient.

I'm not thrilled with the Zerkova pose (looks like she's doing lunges with two power-walking weights). Still, it's better than Fenris. The idea of a Greylord warcaster appeals to me.

Thank you! I was trying to remember what his pose reminded me of. That is a very, very cool fig at any rate, and I'll be picking him up for sure. I'll just add him to the long list of minis I need to get for WM.

The news about epic warlocks is quite surprising.

I bet they will have rules in NQ by christmas time.

Is it just me or is there something wrong with Zerkova's face?

Jeremiah should be placed the other way round on his base. Then it would make sense. Otherwise the best mini form PP I've seen in a LONG time.

Zerkova looks awful, at least the paint job does--the pose looks awkard.

Jeremiah--how, exactly, and why, did his horse get up on a downward slanting slate rock? Why is it there? Did he have his horse leap up onto the rock, to scout the enemy? Lame.

Severius--have you ever helped someone crack their back by walking on it? It's HARD. No way in hell he's standing on the backs of 2 people like that.

Goreshade? COOL.

If you need a full explanation, maybe they went up the rock to scout and now they're
climbing back down.

I'm thinking maybe the epic warlocks will be in Legends. Maybe they'll be fieldable in Warmachine games like EMagnus is in Hordes.

Jeremiah would look better without his scenic base, and Severus Mk II is ridiculously over the top, but other than that, I really like those two.
