Okay, so I have quite a few questions . Here they are:
1.Does anyone have a Disciples of Caliban (a dark angels succesor chapter) army? Could anyone find some decent pics of one? Does anyone know what their backpack thingies look like?
2.In Apocalypse games, is the min. point value 2000 or 3000? If I have allies, does each army have to be 2000(3000) points? Or are they 2000(3000) points combined?
3. How many allies can I have? (will my planned space marines/ IG/Inquisitors/eldar harlequins (for fighting chaos) army work?)
4. Since I can't just go and buy one myself at this point, can someone tell me if the space marine tactical squads come with enough MK6 helmets (ones with pointy noses) for all 10 guys?
5. Is what my friend tells me about Ultramarines being better than Dark Angels true? Or is he making it up cause Dark angels are better and he's scared that I'll beat him if i have a DA army? Or are they equal?
Thanks

2. Generally the points minimum is 3000, but no-one will mind if you field a 2500 point army as long as the opposition has a similar points handicap. Its generally a good Idea to stick to the points allocation though. 3. I dont Think that theres a specific rule as to the numbers, but GW has a table in the back of the Apoc book which details the armies that would ally with each other. However keep in mind that if its one side vs another, you shouldnt have 5 allies on one side and 2 on the other. Keep balance and fairness of the game in mind when setting up. 5. If you like vanilla and the taste of generic, then yes. Rules wise I can't really say, as I havent played enough games recently.

Nope. You get one per Tactical sprue... so 2 per box.

In reality the Number of allies doesnt matter, as Apocalypse was made to let you use everything you own as long as both sides have equal(ish) points then it shouldnt matter. As for the Allies chart, does anyone actually bother with it in freindly games? No one I know does I regularly ally me Necrons with a freinds Tau.
Also the Chart contains errors in some respects, Necrons and Chaos Marines would never ally as Necrons Hate the Warp

It really depends on a lot of things. Using the basic marine codex to make a marine army is generaly superior to making a similar army using the Dark Angels codex. It has a lot more options that have been removed from the Dark Angles and the Dark Angels gained little in terms of power for the loss of those options. So if by "Ultramarines" you mean generic codex marines, then yes. In the end however I would recommend that you build the army you want to play and then just use whatever current codex best fits your style rather than worrying about weather Ultramarines or Dark Angels are better.

I don't think Necrons hate the warp, I think they're just annoyed by demons.

Thanks for everything guys. It stinks that there aren't enough Mk6 helmets. Anyways, my (misguided) friend wants to have a cityfight battle against me and another friend before he visits the inquisitorial office. Me and my other (not misguided) friend are going to have my...well...imperial army allied with his tau army. Each army will be 1500 points. So our allied army will be 3000 points against his chaos army of 1500 points. Personally I think we're gonna totally whoop him, unless i'm somehow mistaken... Anyways, any ideas for an army list? I'm going entirely by whatever you guys say cause you have the experience, so if anyone has an army list for me, it would be greatly appreciated.

So he wants to play 2 vs 1? Unless he has something hidden up his sleeve, then I think he will get "whooped"

So.. you're going to outnumber your oponent 2 to 1... and you're looking for advice on an army list?
I'm thinking, show up and you should be in good shape..

Well...uh...the problem is I haven't really played any large battles, especially cityfight. And this battle will take place sometime later. I have to first build my army. I'm going to see if he'll raise it to 2000 points each. I badly wanna throw in a baneblade. Oh, did i mention it's an "extermination" mission. Last man standing wins. House rules i guess. Unless you guys think we should play a cleanse mission. It would probably take less time. So anyway any army list ideas? About a 2000 points army that won't make me broke would be nice. Thanks again.
*Edit* I painted my first dark angel. I'll post it in painting and modeling as soon as possible to see what you guys think.

Not to start a fluff discussion in YMDC, but it's most likely caused by the C'Tans' hate for the warp (they have no control over it) and warp related powers.
