As we are all aware flying cav cannot move into forests. My question, can flying cav pursue and charge into forests using their base movement stat? (aka not flying) This came up in my last game with my brits and pegasus knights. Since under the flyers section it states flyers cannot move into forests and such. But on the same token i could just not fly in right?

Read the flying rules again. The unit can enter the forest using its ground movement.
