Got myself a whole new marine army, that I'm going to paint in an easy TT standard.
The reason why I do this is because I'm in GW stuff for about 10 years now and never ever finished a whole army before.....
I also bought these:
Will try to update as often as possible with pictures

Nice terrain, a bit of a backward tech planet for 40k.
Now, where are the marines?

Well I painted like 5 marines in different styles but I just can't seem to make up my mind on the color palette.
So all 5 of them are taking a bath (stripping).
Its probably going to Ultramarines......

I already vote for Crimson Fists! Stay true to the ol' red and blue!

Well blue and red it is but not Crimson fists
Made a chapter of my own mainly blue with red pieces, made it an sort of urban army so there is also some grey and black involved
I paint them really TT because maybe after all those years I finally paint an whole army. So I paint them the "3 color extreme layering style"
I also bought these:
And Black Templar rhinodoors and a few Dark Angels robed figures for sergeants

Hmmm... No images for me, they don't load. I like the idea of a backward outpost though, and I'll watch where it leads...

not bad so far. Keep it up. I like contrast between the weathering on the scout and the clean lines on the captain.

Note: D+ can take over 12 hours of driving in Canada. It's no small task here.

Wow, those bases really add to the model. As strimen said, the contrasting is fantastic. If you want to get rid of the Gloss from the varnish, just put Matte varnish over it and it shouldnt shine anymore.
