Hi all,
After posting some of my Malifaux pictures over the whole net, I thought it was time to make a Blog out of it on my favorite forum.
I’m not a great painter and the most of my stuff is just painted in a nice Tabletop standard. I don’t have WIP pictures from where I started, but there will be of the new stuff I paint up now.

In our tabletop group there are 4 more Malifaux players so I get a lot of playing time against different fractions.

Been collecting and playing Malifaux for almost a year now and the collections gets bigger and bigger.
I started of with the Guild just because I liked the models (the sexy blind Lady Justice) and every models I bought is taken because of the looks not if they suck in the game or not….

No real pictures taken there, but its been a while that I finished painting these. I didn’t take any WIP pictures at this stage…..
Also painted:
Executioner (pics follow)
Scales of Justice (pics follow)
Guild Austringer (pics follow)
Guild Hounds (pics follow)
Guardian (pics follow)

After playing lots of games and getting the Malifaux fever I wanted to try something really different and again I got drawn by the models.

So much green to paint, I feel like a 40K orc player…..

The miniatures I bought:
The Gremlins box
Born on the Bayou box
Extra Piglets
Extra Warpig
2 Mosquitos
Extra stuffed Piglets
A Taxidermist
Some Slop Haulers
A Hog Whisperer

Of course a wanted some special forrest/water/swamp bases for the Gremlins (orderd from Fenris, great company great prices for good quality)

I almost painted everything but again no WIP pics (yeah I know….Borring….)

Pics of the finished models are coming.

Played only 2 games til now with the Som’er and his Pigs but mann is this difficult…..
But soooooooo much fun, the look on you’re opponents face when you’re Pigs start Stampeding !!!!

Because we really like the game we also got the Malifaux Scenery Frenzy and starting making gaming tables for it.

Till now whe have:

(Not made by me, but a good friend and resurectionist player)

My gaming table:

Planned is a Wild West scene…
I bought 2 boxes of the Ex Illis gaming board and all I can say is that they are absolutly awesome !!!!!
In total I have 40 plates, so its enough to make at least 2 tables of Malifaux.
Kinda bought these unseen, theres not much info on the net about them, but they really rock.

The start:

Table unpainted

Table painted

More is coming…
Ordered some more Outcasts and Guild stuff….

One tile is 9 inch square, so 22,86 cm.
Which is great because Malifaux beeing played on a 90 cm square making 4x4 tiles a 91,44 cm square

Neat minis! I never really got into Malifaux, but this makes me regret that.

How does malifaux compare to 40k? I know it's probably a long shot and I'm gonna need my anti flame jacket but I've never really done much tabletop gaming but I love those minis especially the coffin cowboy XD

Well both games are played with miniatures......
Thats probably the only thing they have incommon...

40K is played with Dice, Malifaux with cards
40K is about units fighting each other (up to 200 miniatures in a normal game), Malifaux only uses a handfull of mini's....

I think its to much to mention, you better search in the Malifaux part of this forum, there a lot of starter topics there

Nice work. Malifaux is great just because you dont paint the same mini over and over again. Game play. Each character is important. Can't wait to see more. I am almost done with the guild, just lady justice crew to start.
