how does it sound to use a 2nd gen slaan as cthulhu himself, saurus as deep ones, teradons for the flying guys, and skinks as smaller deep ones?

to make the list fit the cthulhu mythos i would have to give all saurus in the list spawning of tzunki. do you guys think the list could still be effective as such or would it be too much trouble to really be worth it all?

As far as the list idea itself, it could be interesting. I'd also refer you to the Genestealer Feeder Tendril head - it's PERFECT if you want some Cthulhi-like creatures in there. Do your skink priests up cultist-style (robes and all) for maximum effect.

The new Kaiju game from PP has some not Cthulu plastic figures that might work well.

Your Slaan really ought to be more of a smallish Spawn of Cthulhu though or possibly a Beloved of Father Dagon/Mother Hydra(which would be a HUGE Deep One with some mutations to set him/her apart). Or maybe just a freaky looking sarcophagus with some tentacles lifting the lid so eye stalks can look out.

'Cause that is not dead which can eternal lie...

I kinda thought a heavy Nurgle Army would do well as a Cthulhu based conversion work. Slaan though... Hmmm...

Don't know who Cthulhu is? He's a character, or rather, a cosmic horror, from the works of the early 20th Century American writer H.P. Lovecraft.
