Ok, tomorrow I have a 2,000 point tournament and I thought I'd bring my Dark Eldar. Please review and let me know what you think. One caveat, I am limited by my model collection and I've never tried a WWP army so please don't recommend that (I will try it someday, but not for the first time at a tournament).

The list looks good.
I always give my Wych Succubi trophy racks, and I usually need them.
You could drop the xenospam or the splinter cannon in the Raider squad to free some points.

are dark lances any differant from normal lances?

My only concern would be what it always is with DE in tournaments. What kind of terrain will you have for hiding your raiders. Are you just gonna form a raider line and pray for first turn, or do you expect to have good enough terrain to hide most of those?

Wustenfux: I'm not sold on trophy racks, it only works once I kill an enemy in hth and if I am already in hth with my wyches then they've done their job and I can rely on them from then on.

8acon8boy: Dark Lances are just like their Eldar counterparts except DE are BS 4.

Dr. Phibes: Well I'm bringing the terrain to the tournament so I'll make sure that there is decent terrain.

Just seems you have so few troops for the amount of weapon your planning on running. High end Ap weapon and not enough horde to me. I mean if I was to show up with my 1850 RTT list and add in some upgrade to get to 2k. You would be looking at around 87 to 92 marines all in five man squads which would kill your ratio. Its a solid list if your have a high number of units requiring AP to take them out in your area that you play. Just two cents.

A very solid list that I can't really find any problems with. The only unit that I had a question about is the Scourges, but they will really rock against non MEQs, so they are a great choice too...

The only other question I had was that I didn't think that the Tormentor Helm worked with the Jetbike to give the extra attack, but I guess I was wrong!

PS: Any pics of your DE army we can look at?

army did well at the tournament. better than mine. well done.

Yeah, I ended up 3rd out of the tournament with a 3-1 record. Only loss was to a Necron player on a table mostly devoid of Level 3 area terrain. I ended up playing only MEQ's (boo!) so the scourges were pretty much wasted. Fortunately, my Archon, wyches, and plethora of Dark Lances made up for it.

Epileptic Moose: The tormentor helm is designed to give an attack when both hands are busy. So with one hand on the bike and one hand on the powerweapon, the Tormentor helm does work to give +1 Attack. No pics yet of the army, but it's getting close to done so I'll take some when it's finished.

I guess it is too late now but I was going to recommend droping the Scourges down to 5 since I have never seen them actually survive a game even at 10 strong. Adding the extra guys really doesn't make them signifficantly more survivable it just makes them worth more when they inevitably get wiped out.
