After months of putting it off, I finally finished (sorta) my Skull Pass board. After reading the WD 320 article and seeing the board made up for the battle report, I decided it was time I tried my hand and building a board. I had always talked about such a project but never actually did anything past planning for a long time. I really liked the board in the WD issue because of the different terrain features and the versatility of the hill and river arrangement. On the GW site, the had a sort of step by step article on how the designers went about making the board, so it wasn't hard to copy. Not exactly original, but I had to start somewhere. I decided to also keep it the original 8x4 foot length and did away with the large mountain "bookends". I still need to fill the river, but other than that, my board is finally done. Lemme know what you all think.

Moz:
You: "Hold on, you rammed, that's not a tank shock"
Me: "Ok so what is a ram, lets look at the rules."
Rulebook: "A ram is a special kind of tank shock"
You: "So it's a tank shock until it hits a vehicle, and then it's a ram, not a tank shock, and then it goes back to being a tank shock later!"
Me: "Yeah it doesn't really say any of that in here, how about we just play by what's written in here?"

Very nice!

Very little (in wargaming, of course) beats playing against a well painted opponent on a well painted, designed and terrain-ed up board...

Congrats!
