(Adeptus Mechanicus ) However, it seems likely that IG will be the next codex out, as per the list, but necron doesnt seem like an obvious choice after that. Unfortunately only time will tell, and if it tells us some sweet AM, then I wont be complaining.

Dark Eldar are late 2009? Hell no. I hope they get a plastic set for each and every single choice they have if that's true. Plastic Wyches, plastic Warp Beasts, even little plastic Incubi. All made by the godly hands of Jes Goodwin. I hope they get them even if they're late 2008/early 2009...
Codex Space Wolves in after C: SM... I mean, by that time they're probably still capitalizing on the vanilla 'dex, so IMHO it's daft to release another Marine codex.

IMHO this is a possible release sequence. BT, DA, BA got their codices updated in the last few month/years.
Actually the SW are based on old subcodex or storm of chaos.I'm not surprised when SW is next to SM dex.
Something called"planetstrike" is not really a well-known name for me.Could describe a campainbook or even a terrainspecific book.Maybe a apokalypse-upgrade?
DE in 4.place to come is not too bad I think?

Switch the Dark Eldar to undefined and Imperial Guard to follow Planetstrike, and the release schedule makes a lot more sense.

I would really appriciate 3 "Loyalist" codices in a row.The release chart I have seen states clear : SM-SW-planetstrike -DE !
Any other mentioned dex was classified as "no date known" !
If anybody knows more, let us hear.

Give a invisible banana to your monkey, he deserves it, just a few things...
-A genestealer cult would have been the best army list ever!
-Squats, you better speed up on a shoping spree because Olley armies http://www.olleysarmies.co.uk/home.html just anounced they will close, so if you want the scrunts range better watchout.
- Jokaeros just dont go buying those silly rackham gorillas on toaster machines
Tyranids codex will come up in 2012 with plastic trygons

Possible order after DE:
IG (as reaction to DE),AdMech (to support),necron (awaken by admech),
Inquisition (to inspect), BA (to handle the threat).
Any other sequence welcome!

1hadhq - makes sense. bout time necrons get an update. They're one of the blandist armies imho also with that pice of necron art in wd april would make sense, apart from theey're shown fighting the space smurfs, not BA, not fiting with your story line, but then again when does gw consider stuff like that, it coud just be new cover art or something!

I remember the first pure spacewolves list was in WD130 something give or take and Im pretty sure the Rogue Trader book mentions the SW. Where did you get your info re storm of chaos/subcodex. That is not really a sound reason to release them one after the other.
Anyway, we know the 5th ed rule book is out in July. If the Space Machine book isnt out till early 2009 thats nearly 6 months without a 40K 'dex - I dont think so, I dont think so very much.

I'm Talking about a dex from 2000 (only usable with C: SM) and Storm of chaos from2003 (13th company) .
Every dex: SM, BT, DA, BA was rereleased as complete dex( BA only WD)! SW is outdated and 13th co a very short list.
A old subcodex needs to be replaced! His base , C: SM is already replaced and soon a new takes place.
Anyway, we know the 5th ed rule book is out in July. If the Space Machine book isnt out till early 2009 thats nearly 6 months without a 40K 'dex - I dont think so, I dont think so very much.
C: SM is in oct. 2008 !! SW possibly at Start 2009. Makes 1 Ruleset plus 1 dex this year.

Actually, the Space Wolves was the third space marine codex to come out back in 2nd edition. It went Ultramarines, Angels of Death ( BA & DA in one Codex), and Space Wolves when it came to the codexes. You must be thinking of the BT or the 13th Company. BT was in the Armageddon and 13th was the Black Crusade.

boyd is incorrect.
The SW Codex was the VERY FIRST Codex ever released (in second edition). It was followed by Ultramarines and then by Angels of Death in terms of SM Codicies.

BT have a actual dex, they don't need armageddon today .
SW were bound to c: SM at 1998,their subcodex had only specific SW stuff and common stuff was reffered to SM.
Until last year GW sold those old subdex in their stores.
What I tried to explain is, SW should have a complete dex like every other chapter
( BT, DA, SM, BA to come).
