So, just for fun I gave one of my seargents a dual bladed chainsword (like Darth Maul ) in one hand and a lasgun with an underslung grenade launcher in the other hand. Can you guys think of any rules for him and an explanation i could give to my FLGS to make the model game legal? Maybe even GW?

The chainsword is a CCW; the lasgun is a lasgun (so the CCW does nothing). Problem solved.

So I can't use the grenade laucher and the dual bladed chainsword is treated like a regular one. Wow, that's great.

Well, you did say "game legal." IG Sgts/Vet Sgts can't take Eviscerators (the closest thing to your double chainsword, I think), grenade launchers, or any sort of combi-weapon. So yes, that is the only "game legal" option for your Sarge. You could use him as a normal Guardsmen with GL, I guess, but it's a bit of a stretch.

Really, I have a lot of sympathy for people who aren't happy with the level of customisation GW codices allow, but in your case, it seems like you just threw on whatever looked good without paying any attention to what you could use it as. Modelling-wise, more power to you, but if you're going to do that, you can't exactly complain when it turns out your nifty toys aren't part of the rules.

*EDIT* Wait! I have another question. Can I poison SM LC's?

Um, is the option to do so stated anywhere in the unit entry of the model with the LCs, or anywhere else in the codex? If not, no, you can't. The same principle applies to everything in 40k: if there isn't a rule that says you can, then you can't.

IMO, count him as an Inquisitor of some sort:

0-1 Elite Inquisitor w/ Bolter & CCW, count the GL as Scourging.

The underslung grenade launcher can count as frag grenades
