go up from dark to light? With greens i generally find Dark Angels Green --> Snot Green --> Goblins Green followed by a small washed down ink gives a satifisfying green..

maybe try Scorpion Green?

you could try that, maybe a light drybrush to pick out the raised areas

Try inking after first two coats before re highlighting then highlighting again. I don't quite do it like that but I like my skin a little darker I do Orkhide shade followed by painting raised areas with goblin green followed by ink wash (3 parts dark green 1 part black 4 parts water). But theres no reason not to highlight after with goblin green again then rotting flesh/ bleached bone.

Mine look like this (sorry bad picture I'll try to get better ones)

I have lots and lots and lots of orcs. I like to make their skin all different shades of green, but so far this is my favorite.
Its easy too. First Black Undercoat, then catachan green (I think thats the name), then 1:1 catachan green and camo green (more layers mixed as needed), Then highlight with camo green.
light but not as cartoon color as goblin green.
