Subject: Question about Daemonic robes interpretation

I just want to get clarified on daemonic robes - it says the character can't be wounded on better than 3+. Does that mean if something thats would wound on 2+ doesn't wound him or it would wound on a 3+ instead of 2? thanks

The second. In order to wound the Daemon you will not be able to wound him on anything lower than a 3+. This means that a 2 will always fail if the Strength of the attack is > T+1.

Got a question to add on. If someone is attacking a character with Daemonic Robes with a weapon that auto-wounds, do they still auto-wound (count as getting those 3+'s) or do they have to roll to see if they wound on a 3+?

Historically speaking, you would still need to roll a 3+.

Check the FAQ's. If not there, then the answer may lie in Warhammer Chronicles 2004, as this question came up with similar attacks, specifically Runefangs against Steam Tanks (when the Tank didn't have a Toughness value).
I believe it also came up in another scenario, but I can't recall as I can't find my copy of the book.
