The daemon codex is unclear, in places it states a daemon has a 4+ save meaning it has a 4+ invul, in other places it states the deamon has a non invul save on top of the invul one.

For slanesh chariots, do they have a 4+ invul or a 4+ normal and a 5+ invul?

All saves in the Daemon codex are invulnerable except for the save granted by the Khorne gift 'Iron hide' which is a standard 3+ armor save.

Just curious yak, but how do you determine that? I thought the chariot was a 4+ armor save?

I believe the Slaanesh chariot upgrade specifies in its text that is granting an Armor save of 4+. If it does not specificy this, then it is an invulnerable save per the Daemons' special rules.

You're right. I posted without double-checking the codex and I just assumed from the question that the Chariot conferred a "4+ save" to the model.

But you are indeed right. The text clearly states it is a 4+ "armour" save, so it is definitely not invulnerable.

My apologies.

Well, I thought I had mis-read it because I read your post at work and I didn't have my codex handy. I was all giddy thinking of 4 Slaanesh Heralds trollin' around on chariots with 5 wounds a peice and 4+ inv saves!
