As they're technically infantry (having a BS, WS, S, T etc..), can warlocks use powers on them?
I'm thinking of having 2 up the front of my force, with a warlock/spiritseer backing them up for the Wraithsight rule.
I figure why they're there, I may as well make them useful.

Wraithlords are quite a bit more useful than you might think.

They are MC, not infantry.

First off, Enhance is not cast, it’s always active on the Warlock and his squad until the Warlock dies.

Second, Warlocks are bought either as a squad of Warlocks, or as an attached leader for a squad of Guardians. You cannot take them solo. They are not Independent Characters, and thus cannot leave their unit and join some other unit.

Third, even if Warlocks were ICs, they wouldn’t be able to join a Wraithlord, as it’s a Monstrous Creatures.

No, there is no "casting" or using of that power. The 'lock is purchased as part of a squad, and he is not independent. The wraithlord is an MC. Having a stat line does not make you infantry.

I don't mean to offend by this, but this is pretty well spelled out in both the codex and the rule book. I would really suggest reading both again cover to cover.

Dude, you TOTALLY should have claimed typo error on that one, and said you meant wraithGUARD. Because you totally can conceal your wraithguard unit. Then you can totally fortune your wraithguard unit. After that you have the uberest objective holding unit in the game.

"I dare ya, come try to kill all ten of my concealed, fortuned t6 models. I double dog dare ya!"

But oh well, you can't salvage your reputation anymore, and shall forever be stuck with the title PEFnewb.
