Lego, any chance you can turn off the 'POST A . OR QUIT' message in the photo dump section...at least for replies from authors to their own posts or something?

The photo dump is literally a temporary creation (just a 12 month temporary creation), as we are working on the gallery software, and when that is up and running it will have every feature that is necessary for image uploading and management, as such I am not bothering to waste time tweaking the photo dump as it should be done with and read-only from September of this year.

The image size controls are utilised for any uploaded images (they get resized into a 600px thumbnail and are also kept as their original size for downloading). If you are including images that were uploaded previously, then use the 'copy image location' option instead of 'copy link location' to get the URL and it should be the smaller version.

Guuhhh explain the different copy options please? I'm confused. :(

The exact syntax depends on your browser but basically, you can either copy the URL of the full uploaded picture (which is where the attached image links to, and will end in downloadAttach/####.page), or the URL of the thumbnail image itself - not the linked image (which will look like this: http://www.dakkadakka.com/s/i/at/2008/5/7/4fca9b8327c82bfd33ae96dd154f4d19_6686.jpg__thumb), and clearly ends in __thumb.

In firefox the full image URL is selected with right click then 'Copy link location', and the thumbnail is selected with right click then 'Copy image location'.

Oh I see. So instead of link, I want copy image because that's a thumbnail. Crazy.

We just have it give out the gibberish to discourage people remote linking the thumbnails for now as they will all be migrated over to the gallery when that is up and running.

Hmm I did and it didn't do anything. lol I'm guessing the img tag all has to be on the same line, which sometimes doesn't happen automatically and I need to edit.
