Its got adequate anti-tank, its got decent anti-personnel, it has what I consider to be good hand to hand in the terminators and greater daemon. However, in the new edition I am not sure it will be enough...it seems low on troops (although they are fearless) and seems small overall. I dont want to break down and add another daemon prince and more oblits in the place of the chosen and terminators, but how could I make it more effective? I like the ability to swamp a flank with chosen, terminators, and greater daemon while the noise marines and oblits stand off on the opposite side - similar to a refused flank, if you will. Im just looking at some of the other builds out there and it seems to be lacking. Comments and criticism welcome - Stelek, C99, mauleed, all you elite types - this means you.

Not sure what you mean by "stand off on the opposite side"--explain?

Well, one side has the chosen (infiltrating, ostensibly) which in turn will have a greater daemon and terminators popping out of them - they attack one side of the enemy line, flank, however you want to phrase it. The shooting elements then occupy the center and opposite side of my own line, the idea being that the 3 forward elements are strong enough to handle themselves. Now obviously im not going to infiltate the chosen next door to an ork horde but hopefully you can see my point.

No flaws in the list.
The NM squads can hold the center while the Chosen are deployed on a flank close to the enemy (if necessary);
they host the GD and get support by the Termies.
That's a gamble. A fast enemy will either move away from them or take them on quickly.

you only have one GD host, if your opponent concentrates enough fire on the chosen unit and wipes it, your GD is stuck in the warp.

your single DP will get shot to bits quickly, but 2 combo up really nicely.

Busy somewhere, airin' out the skin jobs.

Seems slow to me...dog slow. The only fast element is the flying prince. You need something to reach out there, right now you've got nothing.

I am hesitant to add a rhino or two, both because I am not sure of how the impending rule changes would impact transports and because I have nothing else to distract the enemy's anti-tank firepower. In practice games I have played, a fair bit of caution with the chosen has allowed the aspiring champion to be safely hidden until the daemon pops out, however that is a valid concern.

2/3rds of the time you need to claim/contest objectives.

I can see the DP, Oblits, chosen and termies contesting objectives, but do you ever plan to claim an objective?

I agree with the above poster, this list seems slow.

maybe some Rhino's or lesser demons? (lesser demons can claim objectives, you know)

Not to dispute the relative slowness of the list, but arent Noise Marines just fine walking and firing? I wont fall for the trick of putting a Noise Marine Champion in a Rhino and thinking I will be able to use the Doom Siren with impunity, people recognize whats coming long before he gets there.

Here I recommend Raptors that move behind the Rhinos (used as moving hills).
If you offer several threats the enemy might not have a chance to deal with all of them at once.
Therefore, the Rhino mounted NM squads will eventually have a chance to get where you want them.
