I way prefer Morrowind to Oblivion. Oblivion was all flashy graphics and nifty new physics. Morrowind had real character and substance to it, plus a really twisted sense of humor.

1.) Morrowind + BloodMoon and Tribunal

2.) Halo

3.) Total Annilation

4.) Supreme commander + Forged Alliance

5.) Super Smash Bros (The Original)

6.) Doom

7.) Red Alert

8.) Deus Ex:Invisible War

9.) Turok 2: Seeds of Evil

10.) Alien Vs. Predator 2

1) Master Of Orion 2; Hands down the best game I’ve ever played. Graphics are dated but game play is still great. Bought it back in 97 and I still play it these days and any game that has managed to keep me entertained for over 10 years has to hold the top spot.

2) X-Com UFO Defense; A masterpiece of turn based action games

3) Arcanum; An absolutely amazing world concept and good game play based on the fallout engine. No other RPG has ever had an arch villain as cool as this game. When I got to him and he told me why he wanted to kill off every last person in the world, he convinced me he was right and we should do it…that’s never happened before.

4) Civilization; 2 was bad, but every other incarnation has been very fun.

5) Team Fortress; Best first person shooter game I’ve ever played. The class system was unique and very fun. I didn’t care fore the half life version that much but the Quake version and Team Fortress 2 were both very good.

6) Final Fantasy 3 (6); Great game with lots of good story and neat little hidden things for you to go back and find on the second or third play though.

7) Fallout; Both 1 and 2 were great games that took a very interesting take on RPG.

8) Warsong (Langrisir); This is a little known turn based strategy game that was originally put out for the sega genisis. It was very fun and I have no idea how many times I’ve played though it.

9) Final Fantasy Tactics; Great game play and a very good story.

10) Death Track; Another extremely old game (286 era) but imagine an old school version of grand turismo where you can supe up your car with all kinds of cool stuff, including not only many different performance parts for a full arsenal of machine guns, lasers, missiles, mines, caltrops, and other goodies. Never seen a game quite like it since and that really surprises me.

**** Phoenix ****

Threads should be like skirts: long enough to cover what's important but short enough to keep it interesting.
