Morally-Flexible Malleus Hearing Whispers
Well I kind of moved near Toronto, actually.

I picked up "Cylena Raefyll & Nyss Hunters" today, in lieu of a trio of Raptors because a) I would want to get a full squad and b) my brother would be so consumed by jealousy he would never talk to me again. They say, "Will not work for the Protectorate." But can I use them with Hordes armies.
It doesn't really matter, because I mostly got them to be Swordsmen #9 and #10 or archer UA or Striders #2 or whatever. But I am curious. SPD 7, Pathfinder and Weaponmaster make them pretty good on their own.

No, they are WM models only. They do not have the minion keyword, and cannot be used in a horde army.
They are running from the Legion and work for the Iron Kingdoms to fight Everblight.

Basically, you want to look for those models/units that have both "Mercenary" and "Minion" on it. So, Ashley, Prof. Victor, Gundrun, etc.
Cylena & Co. are a great merc unit, one of the best: good ranged and close attack. Now you just need to have them run with the right WM army. Be careful that you follow which contract they're in as well (though that should be pretty easy to find these days). I've seen them used with Ashlynn and Magnus to very good effect, so perhaps start there...

Guinness: for those who are men of the cloth and football fans, but not necessarily in that order.
I think the lesson here is the best way to enjoy GW's games is to not use any of their rules.--Crimson Devil |

ohhh, interesting. I never thought of that, that is a good place to start with mercs.
single wound and ARM 11 is their obvious weakness, I suppose.
