So, turn 1. You run the 4 units of rippers and 4 units of warriors forward.
Turn 2, Lictors arrive. Deep strike where you will be charging.
If you can get them where they cannot be shot, but can give the Feeder Tendril bonus...great. If not, well send them in anyway.
Assaults begin to occur. It's possible you cannot assault anything on turn 2, but it's unlikely. However by turn 3 most of your army will be in charge range.
12" + 6" + D6" + 6" + 12" = 37-42" charge range. Turn 3 is 6" + D6" (turn 2 run) for a 44" to 50" charge.
Anyway, you take casualties but so what?
Rippers with preferred enemy hurt troops bad. 4 attacks each with re-rolls...and same thing with the warriors, except they have S5 and rending.
Warriors kill vehicles as they autopen everything in the game if they rend it except raiders and liths, which they need a 5/6 on the rend to glance.
They have enough attacks to drag you down, and most vehicles cannot escape. Those that can, only get a turn of shooting before they have to run away again.
Either way it's a win-win.

Ripper swarms can't claim objectives, so you have nothing to claim objectives?
Isn't that a little problem with 5th ed?

Yuk, this doesnt look neither fun nor that good. Hopefully noone in their right mind owns these many warriors.
It has 4 threats that arent very resilient and if they get shot down to about 3 models arent that dangerous even. If you run it in 5th ed and finishes a sacrificial unit off, they are in a world of hurt.

You don't need to claim objectives, merely contest them.
How are you shooting down 32 wounds of warriors in a turn?
Just curious. 8 lascannon shots (alot for 5th edition) with cover saves is barely 2 warriors dead...if that.
Bolters at range? Other light weapons? Then...it's the assault phase and rippers will hold you up while warriors go from unit to unit?
Riiight.

The problem with this list is the lictor ,you give one or two units reroll hits by spending 240pts ,which you could almost add 7 warriors more .
and better give adrenal glands to the warriors for extra Initiative ,finish more enemys before they could deal damage to you .

There is a reason there are 3 lictors.
So you give every unit you can support, over multiple turns.
It's called a force multiplier.
4xripper units w/reroll, 4xwarrior units w/reroll > another warrior unit.

Sorry but why would you simply want to contest objectives? And the version of the rules I have says that only scoring units can contest objectives, so unless you are trying to wipe out/bring below half strength, contesting may be hard.

Half strength is pretty meaningless in 5th.

I think it will work very well actually. Its certainly the right sort of idea for 5th ed.
If I may make some reccomendations, I think it may be best to upgrade the warriors a little more, so that they are a little moe hitty, for example, bio-plasma is mathematically better than toxin sacs (and can rend now thanks to FAQ) and is great against skimmers - WS5 + lictor re-roll for 8/9 hits vs MEQ and defense against ICs and characters is golden as well. The only other thing I would reccomend is I5 as well, for obvious reasons. All of this would add +5 per warrior, which for 140 points may be too much sadly...id certainly get the Ws5 + swap to bio-plasma however, and thats only 56 points.
Might also be good swapping one unit of warriors for a Brood Lord and retinue - they are a little slower, but give better options against DPs, GDs etc once you pin them in place. More feeder tendrils is good as well, and in Dawn of War, you can deploy a warrior unit AND the brood lord (due to infiltrate) if you so wish, although having him come un from a flank with th lictor re-roll is solid as well.
Otherwise I like it lot - would you mind if I proxied it to give it a shot?

sorry didnt see your point, the lictor can only DS in a piece of terrain ,so that's not anywhere you want ,and the feeder tendril only work within 2" . I cant see much different between 1 and 3 of them on this case ,except 4 more wounds.

If you dont get 1st turn pepole will have 3 rounds of shooting, othervise 2(turn 2 charges will be possible if you roll high and they start out far ahead). If you roll table quarter setup it might be very far. And in the end you will probably have a sacrificial unit that will be in the way and make you end up in no-mans land in rapid fire range. If you face someone with lash or hwy mobile things like eldars, you will probably only reach him near the end of the game(unless he wants you too).
You would prefer to use hwy bolters or other mass attacks opposed to lascannons on these guys.
