DC, Lemartes, and assault squads advance or redeploy where necessary. Tactical squads get split into combat squads. The lascannons sit back and plink away at tanks, while the two remaining combat squads move where necessary accompanied by Corbulo - his exsanguinator allows him to heal nearby squads and all BA within 12" at the start of assault phase recieve furious charge. They often act as a second assault wave, or can clean up weakened squads that the predators shot up. Predators sit in cover and blaze away or can advance quickly in turn 1 with overcharged engines to get into optimal firing position. Comments / criticisms?

Mount the tactical squad into Rhinos.
Otherwise, they are too slow and cannot keep up with the Assault squads.
Moreover, the Rhinos act a moving hills and can shield the advance of the Assault squads.
This amounts to the modified 4th ed Rhino rush tactics.
Investment into Rhinos makes sense as troops are no longer entangled when their transport get destroyed.
Corbulo sucks, doesn't he?

Thanks for the reply. He doesnt really suck, but he does take some intelligence to use correctly. He acts as a medic, but as long as he himself is not pinned, falling back, or locked in combat then he can heal a squad within 6" of himself - so he can stand just outside a melee and hand out bandages. Thats why it doesnt really hurt that he is missing a power weapon, which would make him complete. He also has a 24" bubble around himself that gives furious charge to all Blood Angels - depending on how you position it, you can give furious charge to a full assault squad or two when acting in a counter-charge role. In this case, the two tactical combat squads would act as speed bumps. If you are on the offensive, they follow up the assault squads and charge in or provide fire support as necessary. They cant really be ignored forever with powerfist and special weapon, and while they only move 6" a turn they are low priority targets when considering the list as a whole. They dont technically need to keep up with the assault squads, as they go for objectives, provide mop-up duty, or act as a second wave.

Now, one alternative could be to get 2 assault bikes for the same price as Corbulo. The one problem with this is krak missiles and similar weapons. I could also get two Razorbacks with heavy bolters for the same price.
