I am trying to think of an interesting way to model Genestealers with extended carapace (which gives them better armor for those of you not familiar with the rules). Does anyone have any experience with this? I am not really that into the shoulder pads that come with the models. I was thinking about doing some kind of greenstuff additions along their back. Spines maybe, or some extra rigdes between the ones that are already there?

Both of these has given me some cool ideas! Great stuff guys! I hadn't thought about removing the ridges that are already there, that may work really well. Time for a test model!

Depends on how many Carnifexes you got, since each one come with what, five heads? If you've got 3 carnies, that should give you enough to do a decent unit like this. If you know people who have more heads that's good too.
